Description:  sea urchin

Apparent size: 5 mm

Common features:  "Jupiter" eye spot pattern which appears on some other specimens, a round "beak" at the underside, numerous flower patterns and ringed wart features

Enhancement methods:

bright/contrast  difference anti-shadow

After bright/contrast, five frames were stacked and the differential process done.  The resulting image had anti-shadow algorithm applied and then contrast enhanced again

 

Summary description of image contents:  an object that has been eroded but not too badly.  The "eyespot" turns out to be one of four such features that are arranged like a flower around a central disc with dimples.  The beak on the underside is ringed by what appears to be four indented "petals" and a flower pattern on the lower left overlaps a ring pattern.  Numerous features.
